Kids around the world.
Next week is Cultures Week.
Let's start looking at the cultures we represent or connect with in our classes.
1). What culture/s do you and your buddy connect/identify with?
2). What do you and your buddy already know about your cultures or nationalities? Can you fill in any pieces on the page?
3). Use the websites below and books in the class to find your country and the country of your buddy.
4). Fill in the parts of the sheet and add anything else you would like to share into the interesting facts section.

4. Plan your calendar art piece. The deadline for Calendar Art is near. Think carefully about what you would like to do, and which elements and techniques from this term you would like to use to create your art piece. What message would you like to communicate?
5. Descriptive writing. Remember the way we brainstormed what adjectives
(describing words) we might use and the different areas we described?
(Setting, characters... and so on).

Do a brainstorm like in class.
Use the structure to plan out your writing.
