What will we do with our learning?

R11 you told me all the ideas you had about what you needed to do next. Now we need to make it happen.
Take a look at this survey and fill in your choice.
(You don't have to wait for me to get started, if you have chosen something and have time in class, then GET GOING! SOOOOOO excited!)

Quick Finishers...

Human Rights Essay
Be the change you wish to see in the world. Mahatma Ghandi

What would you like to tell people? What is important to know about this? What does it look like in real life?
What does it look like in children’s lives?
What have people done in the past about this? Can you tell us about a famous human rights activist?
What would you like people to do?

Human Rights:
What would you like to find out more about?
Make a memory or matching game with the human rights. Something you could play with your buddies.

Take a look at the action from these schools:
http://www.kidsgoglobal.net/showcase/student-work/
Human Rights:
Is there anything you can work on for your board game?

Human Rights: Write some questions and answers down that could be used for a 10 question Kahoot! Quiz.
Make a poster:
Who would it be for? What would it be for- persuading them, informing them, explaining something?
Make a slideshow with the  top 5 rights you think are most important for us.
What are three questions you will answer about each one?
*Share everything you do with me.
**We will have one more day together to finish things off!

There are 5 parts to today.

There is a sneak peek below.😆

3. Use your knowledge. Share your thoughts on each individual picture.
Explain the different Elements used in the pictures below.

What does this create? (effect)
Art Elements

4. Plan your calendar art piece. The deadline for Calendar Art is near. Think carefully about what you would like to do, and which elements and techniques from this term you would like to use to create your art piece. What message would you like to communicate?

5. Descriptive writing. Remember the way we brainstormed what adjectives
(describing words) we might use and the different areas we described?
(Setting, characters... and so on).
Choose one of the below pictures.
Do a brainstorm like in class.
Use the structure to plan out your writing.
WRITE! Use your writing book unless you usually type. (If you type share with me
(alanac@silverdale.school.nz) and Mr Taylor).
